I am wondering about it too.

Is the previous announcement that the album will be released end of August/beginning of September still true? No delays Im hoping?

I really hope that the album version of 'Found' is somwhat different than the released versions I have found..- an around 5 -6 min version..and the guitar part WITHOUT vocals over it...-

- think it was a shame that Roger choose to put vocals on top of the guitar part in the Radio Edit...at 01:57 min..- The guitar part is very strong and beautiful..It can easily stand alone and it would create a nice break from all the vocal...- ;) ..
Also ...although the Radio Edit would have been a few seconds longer I think Roger could easily have repeated the Guitar part..- as it appears in the 'Roger Shah Mix'...from 03:24 to 03:53..- It would have been a perfect Radio Edit then...!! :) 03:56 min instead of 03:41 min...

i think you should start to produce when you know always things better then the original producers? i remember that you also blammed me for the album title, so i'm sure you will find something against the cover, too :D
anyway, critisizm is good and important for me even i just do the things i feel to do for myself ;)
due to my busy schedule i still work on the album, so it#s not realistic to release the album end of august, i hope to have everything done till early september so that we are able to release it early october. my apologize to all my fans for this but the quality of the tracks is more important than just to release an album as soon as possible.
i'm very happy and proud of the album so far and it will be also the first time that i will do an album tour.

Thanks Roger for your answer. I completely understand that you have a veeery busy schedule, so its no wonder that the new album isnt finished yet and its definetely a good thing that you're not trying to release it unfinished. Patience is a virtue.

However, I cant resist pointing out that releasing a Sunlounger album, which was always a symbol of summer and vacations (its after all called Beach Side of Life), in October is a slight 'faux pas'. I mean, of course, the music will be the same, and listeting it on cold evenings (at least in northern hemisphere its get chilly) would still be great, but its nowhere near the feeling of listening The Beach Side of Life on the actual beach on holidays.

No worries though. I got only one request that may actually save the day. Would you please Roger play some of the new (really new, not played yet) tracks from the album in Magic Island Radio Show during the last month of summer? That would be great, 2-3, 4 maybe ;) tracks, even no need to ID them yet in the tracklists.

Hey Roger..First of All..Thank you for your answer...

I'm sorry this comes off as I know everything better than the producers...it is not meant that way & of course I don't!..- try to see it as if I care about the music..- I really do..or else I would not take the time to write you these thing...- It is just my take upon the productions and how I see them being perfect..- :)

- Yes I was hard on you regarding the title and I should not have been...i apologize for that again. I actualy think it is a good title now..

..- The two Sunlounger albums have some of the most beautiful covers & sleeves..- actualy I have thought about asking for the original picture of the 'Another Day on The Terrace' front cover..for use as background on my computer. But I guess it is somehow compyright protected by Armada / Magic Island..?!?
Talking about covers..- that is the reason why I wrote this post.. Could not understand why I can't find anything about 'The Beach Side of Life' on the internet yet..- as I remember you are good at releasing the cover some time before the album release..- so I'm quite exited to see the front cover...because the other ones were really great..

Regarding critisizm...I'm glad to hear that you are able to take it. Critisizm can be positive too..- when people care...- mine is meant that way but came off wrong last time..- But overall I think it is very important that the artist can take critisizm & are willing to see upon productions from different views....different views = creates development, evolution.

- As you say..quality comes before release date. Perfecly agree with that..-
So...my friend and I are looking very much forward to the new Sunlounger album...when you are ready to release it.

Take Care
Marius

Hello Roger,

I am looking forward to your third Sunlounger album this autumn. I hope it will be as good, or even better then the previous two albums. To me, Sunlounger is your premium brand/alias – it’s something really majestic and balearic about this music, pure serenity for my soul. You should be proud of what you have accomplished so far. I totally agree with you, the quality of the tracks should always be the main priority and concern, even if it takes longer time to release it then first predicted. Armin van Buuren, Tiësto and in some ways ATB did NOT live up to my expectations this year, hopefully you will deliver superior quality as always. When everyone else fails, Roger doesn’t! :)

Actually I disagree with you people, I don’t think Roger should pre-release his tracks for the upcoming ‘The Beach Side of Life’-album before the actual release of the album. I really think it should be a surprise, or else the ‘magic’ and excitement will not be the same.

Btw, hope you will be visiting Norway someday soon.
Welcome to a journey across the magic island, music for balearic people.

i think the sunlounger music is timeless and i have fans for this brand from all over the world, this means it's always summer somewhere, so it doesnt matter when we release an album like this. the new single out of this album called breaking waves will be released next week :D and an pre album sampler with 3 tracks will be released mid october to tease the album, so sure i will play some of them very soon :P
